The goal is to reduce the quality gap between human-authored and AI-generated code by ensuring agents build against current platform patterns rather than outdated assumptions. In practice, this means fewer battery-draining background processes, better memory management, and cleaner app bundle configurations โ all outcomes that previously required deep platform expertise.

Monetization optimization becomes the primary lever for acquisition advantage

As CAC rises and execution speed equalizes across competitors, the team that extracts the most revenue per user can afford to outbid everyone else for the same install.
This makes monetization best practices non-negotiable:
- Payment retry logic: Recovering failed subscription renewals before the user churns.
- Cancellation flow optimization: Offering discounts, pauses, or plan downgrades before allowing full cancellation.
- Pricing experimentation: Running ab testing on plan structures, trial lengths, and introductory offers.

What this means for mobile teams
The floor is rising. The average product quality across every category is going to improve because the cost to produce quality is dropping. The work that compounds advantage is the work that AI cannot do:
